The schedule is not the installation.
Chapter 9 is often only one stop. A cooling tower, dryer, sauna heater, fuel cell, or fireplace each pulls other chapters and other disciplines.
- Identify the exact appliance type.
- Confirm the governing code path and listing.
- Occupancy or location restrictions (see also IMC 303).
- Access, support, utilities, clearances, drains, intakes — on the plans, not only in the schedule.
