This website is operated by MasterBuild Contractors & Engineering Services LLC. The public brand is Masterbuild Consulting. Use of the site, free resources, and paid field guides is subject to these terms.

Educational resources

Daily Code Talk, glossaries, checklists, and field guides are general-purpose educational reference. They are not project-specific engineering, a code determination, or a substitute for sealed work by the licensed engineer of record. Always verify the adopted code edition, local amendments, listings, manufacturer instructions, and the AHJ path for the project in front of you.

Paid guides

Unless a firmwide license is purchased in writing, each paid guide is a single named-purchaser license. Guides are not official AHJ publications. Refunds are handled in accordance with the Stripe checkout terms and any written statement on the product page.

Engineering services

Professional services begin only under a written proposal and engagement letter. Website copy, emails, and scoping calls are not an engagement.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape the archive in a way that degrades the service, submit malware via intake links, or present Masterbuild materials as an official code document.
