A work-with is not a new service.
A work-with is permission for the power company to disconnect and reconnect a service while a qualified permit holder repairs or alters it. It is not a new service. It is not a gut-remodel. - Explain the scope. Access to every panel. A locked electric room is a failed work-with.
- The inspector submits approval to the power company. You coordinate the reconnect.
- No action within 30 days = additional inspection.
- Not for new construction, not for extensive remodel that requires occupants to vacate, not for structures unsafe to reconnect.
- Meter tampering / current diversion: masts, laterals, and an electrical safety check of the entire structure — not a panel-cover swap.
- Work-with is not temp power. Construction power, a temp pole, and a generator for construction are a different door — temporary power packet.

If FPL is waiting on a work-with and the electric room is a closet
