County plumbing and gas finals look for bonding of gas piping when there is no electrical permit covering that bond. We do not invent a bonding-jumper size.

- A gas-only permit still leaves a bonding row. Water-heater swap, range, dryer, pool heater — if electrical was never permitted, plumbing/gas is looking at the bond.
- Metallic water service used as the grounding electrode is a different, related fight. Do not swap it to plastic until another approved electrode is in place.
- Pressure test is not the bond. Flue slope is not the bond. LP tank distances are NFPA 58 — we do not publish a number here.

Whether there is an electrical permit on this job, a photo of the gas piping bond (or the lack of one), and whether metallic water service was replaced.
