Two recertification conversations get mixed up. They are not the same job.
Associations and managers often forward “the recertification notice” without saying which notice. Electrical Building Recertification under Miami-Dade County is not the statewide structural milestone inspection. Mixing them wastes a cycle and can put the wrong PE on the wrong affidavit.

Masterbuild does not invent due dates. The notice does. Recertification report signing is offered only after the responsible electrical-discipline professional confirms authority and project eligibility. This page does not interpret your building’s legal obligation.
What to send
The actual notice (PDF or photo), property address, year built if known, and whether a structural firm is already engaged. If you only have “a recertification letter,” send it — identifying which path it is is part of intake.
Does Masterbuild perform the statewide structural milestone inspection?
No. The published path is Miami-Dade Electrical Building Recertification readiness. Structural milestone inspection is a different licensed-professional path.

If it is the County electrical path, Masterbuild will say what records are needed before scope and fee. If it is structural, you will be told that plainly.
