913.1 Appliance category
Install each dryer according to its manufacturer's instructions. Under model 2024 IMC §913.1, electric residential and coin-operated dryers are listed to UL 2158; electric commercial dryers are listed to UL 1240. Confirm the selected model and category. Building occupancy alone does not determine that category.
913.2 Exhaust
Review the dryer exhaust under IMC §504. The appliance schedule and its listing do not replace a coordinated exhaust route, duct and termination review. Link the selected model to the proposed connection arrangement.
913.3 Combustible clearances
Use the selected manufacturer's instructions for clearances to combustible construction. Section 913 does not provide a single alcove dimension for every dryer.

Measure the proposed laundry alcove with the exhaust connection, access and required combustible clearances included. A cabinet-only footprint can conceal a conflict until installation.
